Al-Farouq Ajiede Aminu is a NBA small forward who plays for the New Orleans Hornets. A descendant from a line of Nigerian kings, his name Al-Farouq means "the chief has arrived. Aminu was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2010 NBA Draft with the 8th overall pick.
